もともと日本本土は盆地に棚田が広がり水捌けが悪く、葡萄栽培の環境には適していなかった。そこで倉岡利樹が北海道の広大な平野と丘陵地に目をつけ、優秀な生産者である農家、蒸留所、芸術作家などの元へ通い、独自のルートで1からJAPANESE WINEを発掘した。エンタメ性を掛け合わせて日本一小さなワイナリーとしても知られるここMAOIの生産者の想いを世界へと届ける。

Originally the mainland of Japan was not a suitable environment for viticulture due to the terraced rice paddies and poor drainage. Toshiki Kuraoka turned his attention to the vast plains and hills of Hokkaido, where he went to excellent producers such as farmers, distillers, and artists, and discovered JAPANESE WINE from scratch through his own routes. By combining entertainment with the world, he brings the thoughts of the producers here in MAOI, also known as the smallest winery in Japan, to the world.
